This challenge was inspired by the Year of the Boar, and I knew there was only one pig photo I wanted to post! This is a photo of a photo, as I was too lazy to scan in the hardcopy. The original was taken in Munich, Germany in 1991. It is the bronze statue of a boar outside the Hunting and Fishing Museum. (There is a bronze fish statue on the other side of the door.) It was considered lucky to rub the boar's nose, and I was fascinated by how shiny it was from everyone touching it. (I was also amused to see which other parts of the pig were shiny!)
